Over 5 years into our KMJ journey, and we're embarking on something new - our very own blog! It's been on our minds for a while, and we're thrilled to finally make it happen. I'll admit, when it came time to put pen to paper, I felt a bit overwhelmed. But with a little encouragement from Taryn, here we are!
Fresh on my mind is last week's epic adventure - our family/work spring break trip to gather as many shirts as humanly possible! Three days of relentless searching led to a haul of over a thousand shirts. And yes, amidst the hard work, we managed to sneak in some pool time and shopping for the girls - a perfect balance of work and play!
The look on the bellman's face at the hotel was priceless when they opened our car trunk to find bags upon bags of shirts piled high! My husband's insistence on getting straight to work while the kids explored the room made for a memorable scene.
Loading the car at the end of our trip was a spectacle in itself, with bellmen placing bets on how many shirts we had and strategizing which piles belonged to which season. It was a true testament to the dedication and excitement behind every KMJ collection!
Now that we're back home, the real fun begins - sorting through the shirts and envisioning their KMJ future. I recently spent a rainy Saturday at the shop, surrounded by piles of future collections, including our newest addition: The Black & White Chic Shop! It's a personal favorite of mine, and I can't wait to see it come to life.
